Briton Refrigerant R508B
Briton Refrigerant R508B is an azeotropic HFC/PFC (perfluorocarbon) mixture which is used as a replacement for R503 and R13 ultra-low temperature refrigeration systems. “Best match” refrigerant for R503. Temperature range: -40°C…-101°C.
Application & Use
R508B is used in industry, research and bio-medicine in hospitals, archives and laboratories to ensure appropriate laboratory sample storage, for example. R508B’s discharge temperature is significantly lower than that of R23, which extends the service life of the equipment.
